Delva is built by a two-person team in London. Support comes from the people who wrote the code.

[email protected] — a question, a bug, a card that's wrong, an idea. We usually reply within a day.

For a bug, include your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing. A screenshot helps a lot.

Signing in

  • Do I need an account? No. Delva works without one. Sign in only if you want to keep your progress across devices or after reinstalling.
  • My email code hasn't arrived. Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure the address is spelled correctly. Codes expire after a short time, so request a new one if it's been a while. If it still doesn't arrive, email us.
  • I signed in on a new phone and my progress is missing. Make sure you signed in with the same method as before: Apple, Google or the same email address.

Deleting your account

In the app, open the You tab, tap the Settings cog, then Account → Delete account. It works with or without a sign-in. Your account and its data are removed from the app straight away; an anonymous account is erased from our servers at once, a signed-in account within 30 days.

Deleting the app alone does not delete your account, so delete the account first. If you can't access the app, email us from the address you signed in with and we'll do it for you.

Your data

To get a copy of your data, correct it or ask a question about it, email [email protected]. We reply within one month, usually much faster. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Turn reminders on or off, or change the time, in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Delva.

Content

  • A card is wrong. Email us the card's title and what's wrong. We check it against the sources and fix it, usually within a few days.
  • Can I request a topic? Yes. Use search in the app, or email us a Wikipedia link.
  • Where does the content come from? Every card starts from its Wikipedia article and Wikidata record. It is rewritten for the phone and checked against the source. The adapted text is available under CC BY-SA 4.0. Sources and image credits are listed on our Credits page.

Android

Delva is iPhone-only for now.
